Winter Solstice - The Shortest Day - 21 June 2017 - 4:24 pm to be exact...

Grace Ockwell

Not for the faint-hearted. Geoff Ockwell, one of the Wild Dispensary business owners, celebrating dawn on the winter solstice in Dunedin with a cheeky early morning surf and a warming cup of Wild Dispensary Chest Tonic.    Delicious and therapeutic, our Chest Tonic’s Central Otago Thyme, kawakawa and lemon (along with the other wild herbs) all support respiratory health. Just the ticket to keep you breathing easily.

In Dunedin in June we enjoy an average daily high of 9 degrees.  Our thoughts are with Steve Parker, our herbalist who’s undertaking research in Indonesia with his family, no doubt coping ok with the 27 degrees heat.

Standby for some interesting and inspiring blogs (herbal and possibly surfing related) from him in the next few weeks

Enjoy the Solstice.

Best best wishes from the rugged-up team at Wild Dispensary.
